Some things are better kept to yourself; like these earrings from the Upcycle Collection I knew I had to keep for Me, Myself, & I.

I TURNED A BAG OF LOOSE BEADS & GEMS INTO SOMETHING NEW

And I’m calling it the Upcycle Collection. Before my friend (hi Grace) moved to NYC, she gave me a bag of beads she had been collecting over what seemed to be her lifetime. As her adornments fell apart, she saved the pieces. I could tell many of these beads were of the same creation, but how they were put together before is still a mystery to me. Were they bracelets, necklaces, earrings? Idk. I prefer to keep it a mystery because it let me play with my imagination and put together pieces that felt cohesive to me.

Imperfect and asymmetrical, like our birth given bodies, I hope you find the beauty in these one of a kind pieces. No one in the world will ever have the uniqueness you may possess, and I’m not just talking about the earrings here.
